About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Woolston, Warrington, Cafe OCHO offers a warm, inviting escape for breakfast lovers, coffee aficionados, and anyone seeking a charming spot to relax or catch up on some work. This delightful cafe masterfully blends a homely, rustic atmosphere with a vibrant local vibe, making it a beloved neighborhood gem.

The cuisine at Cafe OCHO focuses on hearty, satisfying breakfast and lunch options crafted with care and a creative twist. Their Sourdough Toasties stand out—crispy on the outside with perfectly melted fillings, these are a comforting indulgence. For those who enjoy a more sophisticated palate, the Charcuterie plates with fresh peppers and bursts of sweet tartness from cranberry add layers of flavor that linger delightfully. Whether you choose your bread from soft white, rich brown seeded wholemeal, or even a large tortilla wrap, the freshness and quality are evident in every bite.

Complementing the menu are a variety of expertly brewed drinks. From a robust Americano and creamy Cappuccino to decadent Mocha and velvety Caramel Latte, the rich aroma of freshly ground coffee beans fills the air, creating a comforting backdrop for your visit. Tea lovers can enjoy selections like soothing Green Lea or a classic cup of tea, providing the perfect warm accompaniment to your meal.

The extras at Cafe OCHO add a personalized touch—whether it's fiery jalapenos that awaken your taste buds, slices of chorizo adding smoky depth, or homemade coleslaw offering a refreshing crunch, every addition enhances the experience.

The atmosphere here is as inviting as the menu. Customers often remark on the cozy, rustic feel paired with a lively local buzz, accompanied by gentle background music that encourages relaxed conversations without ever overwhelming the space. The staff’s genuine warmth and attentiveness transform each visit into a personalized experience. As Paul Johnson shared, the attention to detail, like perfectly cooked bacon with the precise crispness he preferred, shows a kitchen that truly cares about customer satisfaction.

Meanwhile, Kyra Mccabe’s account highlights the exceptional service, noting how Cath went above and beyond to ensure her lunchtime visit was seamless and enjoyable. This level of hospitality creates a welcoming environment that feels more like visiting a good friend’s home rather than a typical café.

Whether you’re dropping in for a robust breakfast, a flavorful sandwich, or just a quiet cup of expertly brewed coffee, Cafe OCHO offers consistently high-quality food, fair prices, and a genuinely warm atmosphere. It’s a place that invites you to savor every moment—whether dining in or grabbing a quick, satisfying bite. Sydney Salter’s eagerness to return for more of their sandwiches perfectly captures the café’s irresistible charm.

For anyone seeking a local spot where quality meets character, Cafe OCHO stands out as a bright and flavorful destination. It’s not just about the food or drink—it’s the whole package: the smells, tastes, sights, and friendly conversations that make each visit memorable.

Absolutely lovely place, heard my mum and dad talk about it loads so decided to come with them one time. I wasn't disappointed! Lovely place with a good vibe and pleasant staff. I had the full large breakfast and everything was cooked perfectly even the bacon was cooked to my preferred level of crispyness. Sausages were delicious really meaty and you could tell that they weren't the typical cheap greasy spoon type od sausages. Black pudding was good quality and the toast was nice and thick. Would definitely come again for a smashing breakfast! Oh and its also dog friendly which is really nice to see.

Came for my lunch and had a great experience! Lovely staff, quick service and a great atmosphere. Cath who served me was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely went out of her way to make sure everything was just right.

It's a quaint little café amongst a row of other local businesses. The atmosphere inside is really nice, feels homely and rustic. We came in at 12 and was informed they stopped serving breakfast - but was given alternative of BLT which was amazing. Got a latte and a mocha and both were good. The service and food is quality. You can either dine-in or eat out. If it's busy you might not be able to stay in.
